Your adventure will begin with being picked up at your hotel in a comfortable air-conditioned vehicle by your guide and certified driver to enjoy a special day touring Tuscany and the heart of Chianti Classico.

 

This will the beginning of creating and capturing memories that will last a lifetime. First, you will visit a medieval castle where you will have a guided tour of the estate and cellars ending with a wine tasting and snacks overlooking the vineyards and rolling hills of this magical region.

 

You will learn the history of the family and the castle and take a tour through medieval cellars that will make you feel as if you have gone back in time. Then off to your second small family vineyard for a wine pairing lunch and tour of the cellars and wine production area. Where you will learn about the production of the wines including the fermentation, vinification, and aging techniques of their award-winning products. These delicious and niche wines can only be purchased on the estate, but don’t worry, we will make sure you have time to take home or ship some of these special products to share with your friends and family!

 

 You will be escorted up to your reserved table on the terrace (weather permitting) for a five-course meal expertly explained by your server and wine expert/sommelier. You will enjoy a 5-course meal all especially paired and explained with each course. You will begin with white wine and/or bubbles and move onto their famous Chianti Classico wines of different vintages, their special production super Tuscan, and ending with vin santo and if you are feeling brave a taste of their grappa aged in barrique. Now that you will be feeling the true Tuscan vibe, we will hop in the van for a 35 to 40-minute drive to Siena or San Gimignano, the medieval town of your choice. This is the perfect opportunity to take a revitalizing power nap.

 

Here your guide will take you through the medieval streets and take you to the most important landmarks and views the town has to offer. You will enjoy some free time, taking advantage of shopping, tasting award-winning gelato, cheeses, or truffles, or just wandering the local piazza’s and streets.  Now that your Tuscan adventure is coming to an end you will hop back into the van with all of your goodies you have picked up from your day touring and learning about our beautiful region. You will have the chance to admire the Tuscan countryside and breathtaking views one last time while returning to Florence where you will be dropped off at your hotel.
