Venice Itinerary
In Venice there are several choices. One is meeting you at the train station, walking about a 2 mile walk total in 4 hrs, through the oldest and first ghetto in the world which was started 500 yrs ago, of course some history and points of interest, then taking back routes to see the outside of the oldest and first Casino, then to a point where we can take a 2 euro "traghetto" (like a gondola) ride across the Grand Canal, right at the Fish Market, go to one of the oldest churches at Rialto, cross Rialto bridge and catch a view from above of the whole city of Venice, hoping there is no line, take some back alley and scenic routes all the while pointing out where to eat well and cheap. Attend a VIP glass blowing demonstration, for your group at no charge. Walk into St. Marks square, go in the Basilica (Sunday is a problem), see the Doges Palace from outside, Bridge of Sighs, then if you want to a Mask making place and oar/Forcula of gondoliers. It takes about 4 hrs depending on how fast you walk. There are other options which take all day when you go for Murano and Burano islands.. I can give you details based on what you want
